Our Story

Founded on Surgical Excellence

In 1988, Dr. Scott DeMars opened Rimrock Podiatry with a straightforward goal: bring the highest level of foot and ankle surgical care to Billings, Montana. At the time, patients with complex foot conditions often had to travel out of state for advanced treatment. Dr. DeMars changed that.

Over the past 35+ years, the practice has grown from a solo operation into a team of four board-certified podiatric surgeons who have collectively performed thousands of foot and ankle surgeries. From routine toenail procedures to complex reconstructive surgery and limb salvage, Rimrock Podiatry has become the region's most experienced podiatric surgery practice.

Today, with offices in Billings, Laurel, and Red Lodge, we continue to serve patients across south-central Montana and northern Wyoming with the same commitment to surgical precision and patient outcomes that defined the practice from day one.

Rimrock Podiatry is not a nail-trimming clinic. We are a surgical practice. Our doctors perform advanced reconstructive procedures, correct complex deformities, salvage limbs threatened by diabetes and vascular disease, and get athletes back on their feet after serious injuries.
